330ml bottle from the brewery via eebria. Pours clear amber brown, thin, but long-lasting white head. Aromas of toffee, citrus, boozy fruitcake. Taste us more of the same, with a light spice coming in. Oily texture, sticky finish. Good.

Bottle, via Eebria. Lightly hazy, amber colour. Neat, lasting, off white head. Vimto cordial. Spicy, hot cross bun thing, going on. Can’t think what the barrel might have held before. Taste is thick and sweet, with a fair dollop of piny, dry, bitterness. Sweet, boozy, chewy palate. Finish is woody dry, and long bitter. Very tasty. Started to really enjoy this just as I’d finished it...

Bottle @ benzai. Very hazy/almost murky orange with a small, slightly creamy off-white head. Smells fruits, hops, lots of pineapple, pineapple boilies, sweet. Tastes hops, wood, some alcohol, some pine, sweet. Bit too alcoholic for me. Full body, soft carbo.

Bottle at Bruce’s new pad, big thanks to Leighton, 15/10/13. Murky orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is bready malts, orange sherbet, grass, damp carpet, toffee, light spice. Taste comprises cramel malts, sugar, orange pith, tangy apricot, light boozedom. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, dry bitter finish. Ok drinkable affair if a little sweet, pretty average for style.
