Bottle. A- Grains, corn, cereal. A- Pale golden color, clear liquid, white head. T- Grains, cereal, subtle spice, subtle caramel, malty. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, crisp finish. O- Lets be real here. It’s a lager. To me it’s no different than any mass produced pale lager like Coors or Bud. Yes, maybe a tad more flavor but not enough to say those suck and this is amazing. Again, it’s a lager. It’s okay.

Bottle from Seoul Plaza. Overall somewhat sterile beer, not too much character. I thought of pasteurisation right off the bat and I can not be very wrong with the incredible BBD of 8/2016. Not much more to be said here. Lightly metallic, washing cloth taste in an otherwise flavourless brew. Drinkable, yet utterly unimpressing.

355 ml. bottle from a Fakta discounter as California Lager. Clear, deep golden colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with grasses, pale malts and fruits. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with grasses, pale malts and a good fruitiness. Nice Lager

Bottle. As Anchor California Lager. It pours a clear golden body under a dense, off-white head. The aroma is weak and grainy, with a fruity touch. Some caramel and toffee hints. It’s medium to thin on the palate, with a very soft carbonation. Some bitterness in the flavor, with a fruity, almost apple like touch. Some bitterness towards the finish too. Superbly boring and not brewed to a standard I’d expect from Anchor. 141228

Bottle 35,5 cl. Comes as "Anchor California Lager". Pours yellow with a slight haze with a white head. Sweet, malty nose with what appears to be European hops. Medium body, a little grainy, biscuity malts and a fairly solid dose of German or Czech (?) hops. 271214

Bottle at home. Golden with a small white head. Malty aroma with some toffee and biscuit, along with fruity notes of apple and a touch of grass. Sweetish malty and fruity flavour with grassy hops and a mild bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours clear rich golden with airy but stable white head. Clear but not very pleasant aroma of fart, yeast and malt and something synthetic. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of malt and yeast and some citric touches. Bitter aftertaste with farty notes. It would be a good beer if no one had farted into the fermentation vessel.

Bottle, 4.9%.Weak aroma of green apples. Clear golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour has a little green apple and a rough bitterness. Not that good.
