Shared can. Dark brown color with small beige head. Cocoa, roasted malt, biscuits in aroma. Taste, roasted malt, chocolate, biscuits, licorice, coffee, nougat. Nice.

Burk från Mikkeller General Store. Tjockt svart med mörkbrun krona. Oerhört mycket kaffe, rostad kokos, en viss nötig ton/mandel, mängder av mörk, bitter choklad/kakao, vanilj och en viss kexighet som leder en till s'mores. Stor kropp, nästan kladdig. Trots sin storlek är sötman väl åthållen. Dominerar gör istället en smulighet som från kakao och kaffe.

Nice brown bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted, dark sugar, chocolate, lactose, dark malts, mild espresso, vanilla, bark, alcohol, roasted grain, minerals, toast. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish roasted, dark sugar, sour coffee, bark, dark malts, alcohol, lactose, bark, minerals, soil, fruit stones, dried dark fruits, roasted grain, toast. Medium bitterness, slightly sweet sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Nice enough.

Medium brown. No head. Looks a touch murky. The aroma has a bit alcohol, lots of chocolate and almond. On the palate, super sweet, with lots of almond and a big chocolate character. Very rich, desserty, super sweet, but still, I like this. There’s quite a bit of almond, but mostly massive chocolate. This is my kind of egregious pastry stout.

16 oz. can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with intense biscotti cookies, with medium roast, almonds, and a touch of lactose. Flavour is rich and decadent, with lots of marzipan, lactose, and medium roast. Somehow, the alcohol is not very apparent - silky, oily, rich palate, without being abrasive in anyway. There is a bit of bitterness on the finish, but it's acceptable. Decadent treat.

Black colour, thick, small brown head. Wonderful aroma, chocolate cake, coffee, vanilla, hint of tobacco. Full bodied, sweet, dark chocolate, not as rich as expected, with a final shorter than expected.
Excellent.

Tall can (thx, Chris S.!) at Josh's. Appearance: dark (shitty) brown with almost no head. It looks really terrible if you put it on light, lol. Aroma: lots of chocolate, coffee, and cookies. They probably put chocolate biscotti into this one. Taste: along the same lines, VERY silky. Overall: very nice.

Coffee and intense sweetness. Deep jet brown with a small brown head. Dark coffee and roast with some intense sweetness.
