Bottle at home in London - sourced from Kris Wines. Pours mostly clear copper with a creamy, light khaki head. The nose holds lightly toasted grains, dried berries, orange peel. Light sweet flavor with slight piney bitterness, some grainy bread, minerals, faint ash, earth, more berries, mildly tangy citrus fruits. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Finishes with citrus fruits, flinty minerals, some pithy grapefruit, orange rind, lightly oily pine, lightly toasted bread. Not bad overall.

5.4% version bottle from Bottle Shop Canterbury. Decent aroma. Earthy amber ale flavour. Some rye spice on aroma. It’s fine if earthy slightly muddy. Fine. Opens up a bit if had with cheese. It’s an amber ale so not hugely challenging bit fine

Bottle from Corks of North Street, Bristol. Deep amber and murky in appearance, with a decent, off-white, head. Sweetish aroma with some citrus and a hint of mosaic oddness. Flavour had some orange fruit, rye earthiness and a moderately dry finish. Ok.

Bottle from Corks of Cotham, Bristol. Brewed at Cheddar this time. Slightly hazy copper in appearance, with a slight, off-white head and moderate carbonation. Sweet bready malts, marmalade fruit and citrus hop aroma. Flavour offered more of the same, with an earthy edge and dry, slightly rasping finish with a hint of pine. Ok.
