2/XII/12 - 33cl bottle from Mitra (Maastricht) @ home - BB: IX/13 (2012-1329) Thanks to Anniek for getting me the beer!

Clear dark brown beer, big aery beige head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: mocha, chocolate, roasted flavours, caramel, vanilla, sugary, not the expected marzipan / almond flavours though. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: little sweet, caramel, brown sugar, some chocolate, mocha, bitter hint. Aftertaste: chocolate, mocha, some caramel, sweet, little sourish.

Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a dark cloudy brown with a big frothy tan head. The aroma is rather nondescript. The flavour is bitter with smoke and liquorice. The best of the hazelnut three!

33cl bottle shared. Thick creamy off white. Deep brown pour. The nuttiest of the 3 nut bocks and the best of the 3.

Thanks to bierkoning for that one. Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Starts strong, fine malty, not too roasty. Fine spicy with some sourish notes. Nutty-dry background. Finish still sourish, a bit alcoholic. Okay.

Draught at their own Proeflokaal, as Nelis Met Noot
Cloudy brown color; creamy head. Mild aroma of chocolate vanilla and marzipan, very much like a cake. Good body strength, a bit too much carbonated; flavor of caramel and sweet chocolate, with an almond presence; light residual sweetness; quite strong bitterness; the final is drier than the front. A bit artificial, but correctly brewed.

Dark brown colour. Almond does come through in the aroma as does some chocolate. Has a flavour of creamy chocolate and toasty almonds.

33cl bottle thanks to Dutchdrebus. Opaque dark brown color, medium sized beige head that lasts for a decent while. Smell malts, slightly brett, herbs and spices. Taste malts, dried fruit, a hint of coffee-bitterness and something I can’t figure out but I don’t like it. Medium carbonation, medium body.
