33CL bottle at home, bought at my last minute run after I found out Christoffel brewery was Bankrupt. Dark Orange/Brown beer, Aroma reminds me of the German Malzbeer called Karamalz, Taste had a bit of sweetness. Overall a good beer.

33cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Murky brownish color with a small beige head. Smell is weird, wet leaves is what comes to mind. Taste isn’t really great either. It’s drinkable but I don’t really like it. It’s not my style either so that also doesn’t help. Low to medium bodyand carbonation.

Bottle @ benzai. Hazy brown with no head. Smells sweet, malty, hay. Tastes sweet, brown sugar, malty.. Not bad but not great. Soft carbo, medium body.

33cl swing top bottle, 2.75€, 6%. Pours deep red-brown, hazed, brownish to creamy offwhite head. Nose of roasted malts. Aroma of roasted malts with some dark fruits. Sensible alcohol, some citrus on the hops side maybe, yeast, caramel and a woody thing. Brown sugar sweetness in the beginning then balanced by a moderate bitterness. Medium bodied, proper carbonation. Bready an tasty. This is my second in this style... seems good, probably overpriced and lacking of something brilliant but’s a nice one.

0.33l bottle. It does definitely not look like a wit or a wheat this. Light cloudy plum-red-brown in color and it has a small khaki top. On the nose it's quite caramel-sweet and almost fudge like. Quite fruity also, and there is perhaps even a swift of something reminding of diacetyl. In taste it's also quite caramel and malt-sweet, and it has a burned thing in the background as well. Suits it nicely. Quite fruity: I get peaches and mango. It's both light drinkable, light oxidized and quite tasty, but perhaps a tad to sweet, and definitely not yer average wheat beer. 27.09.2012
