Export version. The Fuller's Indian Pale Ale is audacious as it contains a grand quantity of "Goldings" hops. Its colour is intensely golden and offers earthy and sweet scents. In palate, strong bitter hop notes mixed with fresh and spicy notes.

Orangebrun klar med høyt beige skum som legger seg fort. Lite bitterhet i lukten, mest karamelltomer. Mer bitterhet i smak, humle, blomster og noe søtlig brent karamellsmak. medium kullsyre.

Pours orange/amber with a large lasting creamy head. Nose shows floral, fruity and grassy hops at first, lots of orange marmalade in there. Also some spicy notes alongside loads of caramel and bready malt. Similar malt profile in the way of flavours, sumptuously malty. There’s subtle spicy and resinous hops in there too along with a bold bitterness that bravely tries to curb the sweetness. Carbonation is a little full-on.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance had a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light trickling yet stringy lacing all around the glass.
The smell had a decent balance between the sweet English malts to the earthy hops. Soapiness? It seems to be somewhat controlled. The malts do end up taking over just a tad more.
The taste was mainly sweet through the malts and the hops do carry the sweetness a bit. There was a light fruity (apple/peach) dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a pretty decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was mainly subdued but still somewhat decent for the style.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good beer to have again.

50 cl bottle from a Wellcome in Hong Kong, around 30 HK$, 5.3%. Dark amber/copper color, clear, stable white to offwhite head, hoppy IPA smell. Aroma falls into classic IPA, nice hops, resin, grapefruit, orange peel with caramel malts. Taste is mild, not biting. Light body, carbonated. A bit weak as IPA but still good.

Golden orange. Good off-white head and lacing. Superbly inviting and refreshing aroma, with oranges, gras, grapefruit and a hint of biscuit. Similarly fine taste and aftertaste. A fantastic well-balanced English IPA!

Bottle. Pours opaque dark golden yellow with small white head. Aroma is sweet malt, bitter grapefruit peel, copper, metal workshop, lemon, freshly cut wood and hay. Taste is initial light acidic then light bitter and light sweet. Body is watery to light oily with lively carbonation. Finish is a bit short with notes of malt, lemon, yoghurt and metal.

Bottle purchased in Rome. Pours a reddish amber, clear and with a white foamy head. Nose: quite flat, sorry but I can't spot anything. Mouth: amber malts, some overall bitterness and a grassy end. Easy to drink and well balanced but not the best IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at the Green Man, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is light citrus hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a light, somewhat watery resin hop, light spice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice enough but Fullers can do better than this.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geriner Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig malzig, leicht hopfig. Geschmach leicht hopfig, fruchtig malzig.
