La nostra porter è eccezionalmente forte, con ampie sfumature di legno affumicato e cioccolato e una struttura cremosa e riscaldante. Impenetrabile e pericolosa, eppure impossibile da resistere.

All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sottobosco. La finezza olfattiva è elevata, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore color marrone è destinato a vita breve. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, frutta secca, agrumi, arancia, erbe aromatiche, frutta passita, vino Porto e pepe nero.

Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee. Flavour is roasty, lots of chocolate and coffee, leading to a dry roasty finish. A bit overcarbonated. Otherwise a very nice coffee Stout-ish Imperial Porter.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours black, with creamy brown foam, fine. Aroma is coffee, a bit of vanilla and smoky. Body is dense, creamy, a little oily, with limited carbonation. Taste is nicely roasty bitter, with quite a sweet flavour too in the background. Final is fairly long, chewy, and sweet-roasty.

Bottle. Pours dark brown/black with a small brown head. Aromas of dark fruits, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, malt, some roasty notes, dark ripe plums. Taste is mlaty, roasty, chocolate, malt, dark fruits, licorice.

Bottiglia: As black as ink, smaller stable tanned head, distinctive dryish bitter-sweet fruity and roasty nose, some caramel underneath; solid bitter-sweet flavour, full bodied, silky MF; lingering sweet malty and toasty bitter finish with chocolatey traces. Well crafted and well drinkable drop....

Nitro, 2018-09-28. Black color with beige head. Aroma is milk chocolate, lightly nutty, very aromatic. Taste is chocolate, light earthy, nutty. Velvety mouthfeel with low carbonation. Lots of fun!

Nitro-tap at Ammutsøn. Pretty black, huge dark brown nitro head which takes ages to settle - lovely. Dry coffee roast aroma, light seaweed. Medium full super creamy body. Mellow roast, honey, breakfast puffs, Mokka, good coffee retronasal. Nice!

On tap. Almost black intransparent looking. Beige head. Lovely lacing. Malty and estery aroma. Reminded me of strong dry stout. Medium body. Taste: medium sweet, toasted malts, roasted malts, chocolate, dried fruit, coffee. Light bitterness. Good but not outstanding.

(Bottle) Black colour with big, frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate, dark rye bread, coffee, tobacco, dried fruit (prunes, date) and liquorice. Malty, roasted, slightly fruity taste with dark chocolate, coffee, rye bread, prunes, dates, liquorice, tobacco and a generous roasty bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty porter, fairly complex but still in excellent balance. Very nice.
