Bottle, 8.5%. Sweetish and salty aroma. Black colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is sweet and salty. Quite roasted and a little fruity. A lot like a Baltic porter. And not bad.

330 ml bottle. Opaque black color with a huge bubbly tan head. Big roasted malt aroma has notes of molasses and plum pudding. Flavor is rich dark malt with notes of plums and soy sauce. Hints of espresso, currants and toasted walnuts. Rich and complex with a full body and sticky mouthfeel.

330ml bottle @ Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Aug 15, thanks to Paolo! Lovely smooth, dark, flavoursome porter. Chocolate and molasses get a look in, with a moderate bitterness. Delicious.

19th Aug 2015: Shrewsbury Bottle Exchange meeting, cheers Paolo for this offering. Poured very dark brown/black with a tanned brown head. Aromas of dark berries, chocolate, vanilla and roasted maltiness. Taste followed along the same lines, semi-sweet dark fruits and molasses compete for attention in this impressive brew. Another good, solid Italian beer.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear reddish brown with a five finger head from a normal pour, clearly some carbonation issues here, and the bottle keeps slowly leaking foam. Lovely sweet roast in the nose. Rich body, clearly a bit overcarbonated, dried dark fruits and a fusty touch. Something not quite right here. 070715

330ml bottle at home. BB 12/2015. dark brown color. rather big coffee-colored head. smells of spices, chestnuts, malty roast, some chocolate, light smoke note, caramel. full body, rather bubbly carbonation, rather bubbly mouthfeel. tastes of caramel, some malty roast, light bitter chocolate, some alcohol, light smoke notes, lightly sour. finishes dry and with roasted malt. good, but the carbonation obfuscates most of the taste (but also some of the alcohol), overall the taste is also a bit messy and too alcoholic. was expecting a bit more.

Nearly black, seems clear. Small light tan head. Roasted aroma, some dark choc and hints if dark berries. Alcohol later on. Flavour has bittersweet licorice, coffee and hints of brown sugar. Solid mouthfeel. A little sticky with bitter light boozy finish.
