A Rye Pale Ale created with Beer Here, our friends from Bornholm, Denmark. Light amber color, nose is fruity and resinous given by New Zealand hops, a robust, mildly peppery taste given by rye malts.

Bottle shared on the beach. Hazy golden with fluffy white head. Nettles, herbal tea, orange, lime. Lots of herbal dank hops with soft malts, not really in a caramel way but more soft nuts and bread. Light sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied. Nice stuff.

Hazy amber, small white froth. Piney citrus aroma, passionfruit. Similar flavour with immediate and lasting bitterness. Finish lacks a little oomph.

Tap at RJ. Aroma mostly hoppy, grassy, ambiguous fruitiness, quite intense, slightly alcoholic. Hazy golden-orange colour, stable white head. Taste is quite thin bodied, mostly simply bitter, lacks a bit of balance. Slightly rough, grassy. Okay beer.

Vast offwhite head. Not a gusher, though. Hazy deep yellow body with strong carbonation. Resiny tropical fruit aroma with herbal wooden notes. Dryish herbal candy grassy taste with alcoholic notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel, slightly flat. Dryish minty alcohol aftertaste with resin and tropical fruit. A seriously odd beer. (0.33l bottle, I don’t know where from.)

Draught at La Fine Mousse, 4/25/15
Lightly hazy, soft peachy-hued golden body has plentiful carbonation and a medium sized white head that is moderately well-retained.
Pretty straightforward aroma gives off plenty of acidity from the colombus while the motueka adds the actual aromatics of leafy, nearly floral hop notes with light peach, tangerine and a bit of unripe lime skin. Very little interference from the malts, though some dry, biscuity-like notes are apparent, as well as a bit of honey and light vanilla.
Well-attenuated, lean body has plentiful, flavorful floral and citric notes. Nothing crazy here, yet nor is it heavy on acidity. Very drinkable, with almost a "fuzziness" from the nectarine skin-like texture, chewy wheat and ample carbonation. Touches of perfumey-like flavors are quite dry on the end, but some juicy fruit hop notes keep things interesting as it warms. Quite good, though maybe a touch too dry all around in both hop and malt departments. Clean, drinkable.
