22 ounce bottle into pint glass; no bottle dating, but purchased recently. Pours lightly hazy golden straw color with a foamy 1-2 finger bright white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty foamy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, cracker, bread, honey, grass, floral, herbal, and earthy spiciness. Nice, pleasant, and well balanced aromas with decent strength; on par for the style. Taste of pear, apple, lemon, cracker, bready grain, grass, floral, herbal, and earthy spiciness. Light yeast tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of light fruits, cracker, bready grain, grass, floral, herbal, and earthy spiciness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice balance of flavors; with a typical flavor complexity for the style; and zero cloying flavors on the finish as expected. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and lightly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice Kolsch style! Nice balance of flavors with solid complexity; and extremely smooth and crisp to drink. Very enjoyable offering, and on par with the style as expected.

Bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Poured a clear light straw colour. The thin white head was short-lived. The aroma is malty and some more malt. The flavour is, not surprisingly, malty! It's smooth and with some limited bitterness. A very decent and drinkable ale. Perhaps not the style we are used to from Three Floyds, but a good shot at this style of beer!

Bottle. Yellow, light gold body. Fizzy, white head. Aroma of toasted grain, grass, straw, plant. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Clean malts, no trace of huskiness. Taste of grass, straw. Some lingering bitterness. Malts are most prominent and not the bitterness expected in a Kolsch and especially from Three Floyds. Still, this is a clean, crisp beer and easy drinking.

Enjoyed on tap at 3 Floyds Brewpub after eating a whole mess of food with some good friends. Appearance a slightly cloudy gold with a thin white head. Aroma of german lager yeast and a touch of grassy hops. Taste is nice and refreshing, nice malt/hop balance, grassy, full bodied, really great stuff considering the style.
