A deliciously robust, rich blend of hops and malt, including an English barley first used in 1905 called Plumage Archer. This traditional ale is lovingly brewed using barley from selected organic farms, including Duchy Home Farm at Highgrove.

500ml bottle from Waitrose. Red colour with a thin off white head. Aroma is banana. Flavour has more fruit and a sweetness, that leads to a bitter finish.

500ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a crystal clear deep copper with minimal tan head that is gone quickly. Nose is grain and caramel and light vanilla but all very muted. Taste starts very sweet with toffee and fruit leading to a some mild bitterness. Mouth is quite thin with very soft carbonation and a lingering light bitter finish. Just OK.

Poured a clear copper with a white head. Some lacing is produced. Caramel sweetness, earthy, floral, and fruity. Smooth, creamy, and a persistent bitter aftertaste. Beautiful beer

500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber orange color with a small creamy beige head. Light biscuit malt nose with a hint of chamomile. Smooth light toasted malt flavor has a slight bready undertone. Not much body or complexity. Fairly straight forward and lacking. Light dry hops in finish.

500ml Bottle: BBD 31 May 14, poured into a UK pint sleeve on 26 Nov 13. Looked good, a light ruby body that was clear and clean above sat a full and lasting off-white pillow of foaming bubbles. The nose was weak: hints of fruits and malts if you sniffed hard enough. The taste was of semi-sweet malts with fruit notes, was expecting more to be honest. Medium bodied and easy enough to drink, but it lacks polish and depth from start to finish.

Bottle from Waitrose in Northwood. A dark orange coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Vague fruity, caramel aroma. Tastes slightly fruity, caramel and not much else. I really struggled to drink this one.

Bottle - Sweet malts, honey, apple and apricot. Clear orange with a thin beige head. Slight hops, booze, caramel and a hoppy bitter finish. Body is a bit thin and overall this is not my cup of tea.

Dobre organiczne piwo z Anglii. Ladna elegandzka i powsciagliwa etykieta robia wrazenia. Skladniki ekologiczne sa bardzo swieze i pachnace. W smaku piwo jest goryczkowe, taki lepszy bitter, o jasno miedzianym kolorze.
