Hazy amber coloured with a small beige head. Aroma of malts, peat, light vanilla, smoke, some spices. Flavour is medium malty sweetness, more peat. Nice brew, but I get more of a "best of both worlds" experience from a good BA Imperial Stout.

Tap at L.I.B.Leiden: Slightly orange/amber colored brew with an pretty sweet bitter taste, its has burning abillities and the hints are subtle smokey.

Ambercoloured with beige head. Aromas of peat, caramel and smoke. Taste has smoked pork, campfire, some hops and is not too sweet. Alcohol is well masked, pops up only at the later finish.

Bottle. Amber color. Peated malt and marmelade in the aroma. lapsang Souchong. Full bodied, alcoholic. Dried citrus and peat in the flavor. The peat is almost medecinal and persists in the aftertaste Good, but not very refined.

330mml. Bottle tasted on the 22/11/2018 at Groningen «The Netherlands». Dark amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of peated whiskey malts, caramel and oak barrels. Taste is intense peated whiskey malts with presence of wood and intense smoked grains. Not my cup of tea. Next one please!

Bottle from Mr. Hop. Hazy cloudy orange/amber colour, creamy beige foam. Nose of peach, stone fruit, peat and whisky. Taste is smokey, lots of peated whisky malts. Not overpowering. Nice beer!

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 21 Feb 2018) Reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, smoky nose with caramel, red fruit and some smoked ham. Malty, smoky taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit, smoked ham, orange peel and a mild bitterness in a fairly boozy finish. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty but a bit unbalanced and boozy. Quite nice.
