Can. Yellow gold, slightly hazy with a three finger head. Aroma is more juniper than lime. Very tasty, a great summer time beer.

Great dry herbal beginning. Fruity lime and herbal juniper over a dry pils body. Very nice.

Pours clear gold with a two finger white head. Not surprisingly it smells of lime and juniper. Both are very apparent in the flavor which also has bready malt. It’s somewhat sweet though some mild hops provides some balance. Enjoyable.

Can from Oktoberfest: pours gold with white head. Aroma is lime and some ginny, juniper notes. Taste is quite pleasant. Has a gin and tonic flavor while being less strong. Nice.

Golden with a small foamy white head that left good lacing. Dryish with gin, juniper and lime notes. Medium finish and body. Well executed.

Almost clear golden color and a white head. Grainy, malty nose with lime. Crisp. Refreshing taste of lime and junioer. Dry finish.

Can from Craftbeer-shop.com. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and lime. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Strange, but if you like G&T it’s not bad. 080921

12 ounce can labeled as Icelandic Lime & Juniper Pils. Bright yellow gold color. Frothy white head. Citrusy aroma hints at lime and juniper. Crisp malty flavor has obvious notes of lime and juniper berries. Like drinking a lager and a gin and tonic at the same time. Quite refreshing, especially on a beach (where I am drinking this now). Finishes dry with citrusy notes.

Crystal clear golden coloured body with a decent, one to two centimetre tall pure white head that actually stays afloat for a while. Aroma of undeniable juniper berries, gin (of course), limes, subtle graham crackers with a light dry malty funkiness towards the end. Light-bodied; Strong juniper berry and gin flavours dominate with a lot of astringency and pungent, sort of overwhelming for the light malts and subtle citrus notes, as they are by far the strongest with an obvious nod to the Moscow Mule that really shows through everything, including the light malt body. Aftertaste shows some more acidic and drier citrus notes with the lemons coming out of course and pushing the bitterness with some overt alcohol flavours and a dash of specialty grains and funky malts near the end. Overall, a nice, dry, airty and especially fragrant (juniper berries) profile that is strong and deep, without overwhelming the palate. Nice to sample and a good one for when the weather outside is hot and you are looking for a nice, easy-drinking, yet flavourful beer that hits the right marks. I sampled this 33 cL can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 21-August-2020 for US$2,06 sampled at my house here in Washington on 21-September-2020, exactly one month later.

11.2 oz can from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours a crystal clear pale gold color with a white head and great retention. Decent lacing. Lime aroma. Lime flavor up front with some spruce tips and pilsner malt in the finish. Thin body. Acidic mouthfeel. Unique, but not very beer-like. Drinks like a cider. Not a fan.
