From tap at Canil, Lisboa. A bit more caramel-heavy than I like my RIS. Some roast, liquorice, molasses. Medium sweet with a fairly firm bitterness and some alcohol in the finish.

On tap. Pours black with short tan head. Riasted malts, cream, vanilla and a dose of sour notes that should not be there.

Lots of roast and caramel. Black pour with good head and lacibg. Dark chocolate and lots of coffee. Bittersweet finish

Tap at Canil Marques. Opaque colour and small beige head and lace. Toasted, light veggie vibe, ashy aroma. Medium-bodied. Toasted and ashy flavour. Okish but not much RIS here.

Keg at Canil, Lisboa, 24/03/22. Black with a well presented lasting tan head. Nose is dark malts, chocolate, roasted tones, dried fruits. Taste comprises mellow roast, dates, chocolate, molasses, fruit cake, spice, booze tunes, burnt toffee. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Perhaps lacking some depth for the high ABV but a decent easy sipping old skool impy stout.

Draught, pint. @Canil, Lisboa (Portugal). 25/01/2020. [#3.235 Global - #147 Portugal - #4 Canil] Pitch black colour with a tan head. Good retention. Aroma is smoked malts, port wine and soft licorice. Taste is almost the same leading to a medium bitter finish. Next one please!

Good ris.cannot taste the alcohol too much.could have even more flavours though.

Tap @ Canil. Very dark brown with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, liquorice and salt liquorice . Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, sweet, liquorice, salt liquorice and medium bitter.
