Apple and hay in the aroma. Yeasty flavor with apple. Medium bodied, no head. Smooth, but a bit bland. Re-rate bottle best before april ’04, tasted august 8 2005. Lemon, mandarin and a touch of yeast in the aroma. Thinnish. Lemon and a hint of grape sugar and a touch of sherry in the flavor. A bit past its peak, still very much drinkable. Beer sold as Schans blond, no label. Deep golden color. Flowery earthy bitter flavor, somewhat perfumed. Long earthy bitter aftertaste. Hint of citrus. Soft earthy aroma. Solid blonde ale (6 3 7 3 13 = 3.2)
