Rate 3.6, best before 11/24, from Amstein, serving me this one at Epalinges. Standard ale, probably high fermentation, dry,malty, sparkling, bitter, citrus, light body, a hint of sweetness, a kind of Belgian ale with American hop.

A clear golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of pale malt, straw, yeast. Taste of pale malt, yeast, straw, mild bitterness.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a tiny, rough, quickly dissipating, white head. Sweet, malty nose. Medium body, clean, sweet malts with just enough hops for balance. Bland yet easy drinking ale. 220125

Keg at Catraio Craft Beer Shop, Porto, 27/10/22. Pale light golden yellow topped with a white head. Nose is pale malts, grains, citric tinged straw, melon. Taste comprises lemon rind, grass, herb, straw, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so blonde ... not a lot happening here.

On tap at Alvares, Porto September 2023. Golden in colour, with a tight, white, head. Yeasty grains, a touch of citrus character, thin malts and a dryish finish. Ok.

Tap at Crafty Corner, Lisbon, 12th December 23. Pours a clear blond beer. Aroma is yeast and citrus, taste is citrus and yeast, not much going on, quite dull
