From a 650ml bottle on 3/6/2018 (shared with Butz). Pours a deep amber with a small head. The aroma is malty, with some caramel and toffee. Quite malty in the mouth - more caramel and toffee, nuts and toast. Features a moderate bitterness with some dark chocolate in the mix. Fullish bodied with moderate carbonation. A very solid and tasty malty brew.

Bottle, four years after bottling, shared with BBGTC. Pours hazy, red golden, with a short lived creamy head. Aroma is citrusy hops with oranges and light tropical notes of apricots, as well as malts with cereals and toffee. Medium to full body, with average carbonation. Flavour is hoppy, with sweet citrusy notes of orange and tangerines, as well as some malts with cereals and toffee.

Pours a deep reddish brown from a bottle. Piney aroma, similar flavor, nicely bitter. Good beer.

Pours dark amber from the bottle. The head is thick and frothy. Aroma is a mix of caramel and red berry. An interesting mix that works, unfortunately, more nauseating than pleasant for my taste. Taste is very sweet up front, turning tart, then finishing with a dry, mild bitterness. Finishes warm and lightly alcoholic. Body is thick and rich. Overall a wonderfully complex but ultimately cloying effort that fails to grow on me.
