473mL can, pours jet black with a medium tan head and slow recession of it. Aroma is full of lactose, chalky cocoa powder, and a little coconut. Flavour is more coconut-y, with some cocoa, lactose and light roast. Nice complementarity of flavours, finishing with coconut and cocoa on the finish. Gets a bit cloying with each sip and not overly complex, but it's integrated well. Good stuff.

2020-02-27, can, 7-4-8-3-16=38
Dark brown colour, near black, with compact head. The mouthfeel is very lean, quite good chocolate flavour, it's fairly sweet and that's an important element.
Not complex, but very enjoyable.
2018-11-07, draught at the Alibi Room, Vancouver, nitro, 6-4-7-3-13=33
Black colour, with creamy, persistent, tan nitro head. Weird aroma, granted that the seat at Alibi Room close to the kitchen smells like hell of rancid frying oil; it seems to be butter, fatty, a bit rancid, well… Light coffee aroma too. The mouthfeel is smooth, some roasted malts, peanut, toasted coconut, mild sweetness. Lean finish.
Not very Imperial, and more fun than class.

Draft - Coconut and chocolate, very Bounty like. Jet black witha rich light brown head. Lots of coconut, coffee and chocolate. Superb. I would even say better than their IPAs.

Dark brown, medium head. On the nose, some chocolate and what I initially perceived to be diacetyl but as it warmed proved to be more of a toasted coconut. On the palate, chocolate, nice fruity dark malt, and some more of that toasted coconut character. There's a touch of spice that's hard to place, too. Has some foreign stout elements.

A pint at Darby's with Nikolai. Pours a very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, some sweetness and coconut. Taste is pretty similar with elegant coconut notes. I would prefer a bit more of coconut, I think. Not sure whether it is 8.8% actually, as it is very drinkable so you can easy finish a 20oz glass. That is probably a nitro influence. P.S. At P49 2 weeks later shared with Andrey it was much more prominent and better. Looks like Darby's may do not do a good job with their tap system :-/
