Well-rounded and approachable like a snake that is surprisingly friendly. It’s unexpectedly light for a darker beer but doesn’t lose out on soft toffee and caramel flavours.

Rust and some caramel. Ok red. Maroon pour with good head. Light tangy finish. Tap at brewery.

473ml can. Pours a clear auburn with a medium, creamy, long lasting, tan head that laces. Sweet aroma of toasted bready caramel malt, nuts, ash and a hint of chocolate. Sweet flavour of toasted caramel malt, toffee, overripe red apple, nuts, earth and leafy green hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Malt forward and easy to drink. Decent.
