On tap at the brewpub. Black with medium beige head. Aroma is cocoa, medium body, medium nitrogenation, thick small-bubble lacing. Taste is cocoa and pretty dry finish.

Golden brown. Very thick nitro head. Nice toasty malt aroma. Almost tart, dark malt accent. Light body, touch of caramelly sweetness. Good stout, but of course all the complexity gets knocked out of it by the nitrogen.

On nitro tap at Steamworks, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a medium, foamy beige head. Aroma brings out lots of oats, light cocoa and some crusty bread. Flavour is very laid back, with smooth dry cocoa, oats, and very light roast. Low metallic and bitter character on the finish. Smooth and unassuming. Decent but uninteresting.

Draught at the brewery
Black coloir, frothy head, rather than the not so head. Bready malts, soft but dry mouthfeel, with light malt fruitiness.
Good, timid Stout.

Soft barley aroma, perfect beige head on deeper brown body but with nitro it feels like that's cheating. Flavour is adequate barley with a sharp finish, but that's it. Simple but serviceable, you'd drink this in a pinch at the venue but would never seek it out.

Tall can from JAKS NW shared with Andrey. Pours an almost black with a beige head. Aroma is quite pleasant with coffee, roasted malt, some nuts and spices notes. Taste is along the same lines however the intensity is very low as well as body. It's like a Guinness substitution. Very drinkable.
