Black colour. Weak mouthfeel. Feeling of cigarette butts in beer. A bit earthy. Short final.
Not a fan.

Very dark colour. The aroma is a bit earthy and soapy. Lean mouthfeel, some rye acidity, some soapiness. Messy and not very pleasant.

Dark brown, thin head, toasty, bready malts... on the palate, slightly sour, kinda yeasty.

Draft - Soured dark roast and some earthy notes. Deep ruby brown with a small beige head. Light soured dark malts with a touch of earth.

Taster at Alibi Room with Alex. Pours a da4k brown with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, some slight fruitiness. Taste is similar. Meh. Almost no character at all.

On tap at Moody, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a reddish tinge and a small beige head. Aroma brings out tart red fruits, earthy rye and crusty bread. Flavour is along the same lines, with tart red fruits, lots of crusty bread, and earthy rye. Nicely constructed, and well-balanced. Really quite nice.
