Sample at Bob's Bar during the CBC Xmas Bash! on 12/14/2018. Dark brown color with a medium beige head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of tart fruit, oak, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart cherry, yeast, vinous oak and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a cherry and berry aftertaste. Good beer all around.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out pithy blackberries and cherries, with plenty of oak. Flavour is along the same lines, with oak, booze, and tart berries. A bit boozy and chaotic, but it works.
