Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB 11/08/16, large sample. Slight hazy golden color, medium frothy white head. Aroma of peppery yeast, citrus, spicy, slight grainy, hay. Soft bitter taste, slight sweet. Good balance between dry and spicy notes. Pretty good saison. Bottled version is made at Proef, and it seems to be slightly different from tap, but as mentioned earlier, this style usually benefits from bottling. Upping the score. Tap @ UBF13. Pours a cloudy golden color, almost no head, like a glass of orange juice. But that’s probably just to get it ready for the festival, as the brewer told he got some out of the lager tanks just for the festival. So it’s extremely fresh. Aroma of lots of fruit, apricot, citrus, together with some soft spicy yeast notes. Medium dry, still some sweetness. Quite creamy mouthfeel. Should dry out more in the bottle. I already like it, but it can only get better. 3.4

Draught @ UBF. Opaque yellowish color, fantastic dense white head. Smell and taste malts, yeast, sweetish and a bit weird. Low to medium body and carbonation.
