Bottled:
Pours deep, hazy orange with a small-ish fluffy head. Yeasty, funky, sourish aroma. Surprisingly thin mouth feel with lively carbonation. Taste is red apples, yeast, funk and a little bit of brown sugar.

750ml Bottle - Amber with a foamy head. Apricot, sugar, peach, yeast and some floral notes in the aroma. Fruity, tangy and slightly sweet taste with peach, marmalade and apricot standing out.

Notes from early 90s. Had several issues from 75cl bottle. Dark golden color. Aroma’s: herbs & spices, some fruit sourness. Flavor is moderate bitter & moderate sweet. Quite strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Finish is moderate to full bitter. Pretty good and original (back then).

Bottle - Yeasty fruity stone esters, light spice and citrus. Hazy copper with a decent white head. Lots of stone fruit, some plum notes and other fruity esters. Yeasty finish with some very light tartness.

Bottle shared at the chriso May 2014 tasting - London. Gusher! Pours hazy amber with a creamy, white head. The nose is heavy with yeasty bread and light fruit tones. Medium sweet flavor, bready, with some candi sugars and Belgian yeast. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with Belgian yeast, toffee, fruit. Tasty but somewhat basic.

Christmas Moneuse, with off-white, sticky, rocky head (caught after long-lasting gushing) and deep amber colour with somewhat brownish hue, hazy with calm sparkling. Appetizing aroma of leafy hops, apple, pineapple, cumin, ginger, sweet red curry, liquorice, cinnamon, peach, hay, bitter honey, white pepper, grapefruit. Fresh fruity taste, sourish citrus touch, vague sweetness, subtle candi, supple and soft mouthfeel, light spiciness, earthy, long sticky hop bitterness. Another great Blaugies saison.

Bottle from Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Hazy brown. Bubbly, off white head. Slow gusher, this. Granary bread maltiness. Ripe plum. Light, brown sugar. Taste is fruity dry. Light bitter. Soft, sugary palate. Finish has a brûléed bitterness. Very nice. Even in the middle of Summer...
