500 ml bottle from Tavour, 2/4/20. 2019 Reserve, Bottled 3/18/19. Pours a darker, rusty orange color with a thick, foamy and frothy, beige head. Strongly funky / peppery, some wood, herbal, pear, and grape notes. Bright, tingly, and fairly tart. A nice complexity has been developed at this point. I could see it changing with more age, but as it is right now, it is drinking nicely. Nicely blended. 7/4/8/4/16

500 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 3/23/2018. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas and flavors of big tart lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus zest, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, peppercorn, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wet wood, leather, musty funk, wheat, cracker, white bread, light white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, oak barrels, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus zest, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, peppercorn, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wet wood, leather, musty funk, wheat, cracker, white bread, light white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tartness, wine tang, and yeast/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus zest, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, peppercorn, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wet wood, leather, musty funk, wheat, cracker, white bread, light white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, oak barrels, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/tang/tartness and yeast/oak spiciness balance; with no puckering flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/tangy/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/acidic/tangy/tannic, and fairly crisp balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is an awesome american gueuze style! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, oak barrels, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink for the ABV, with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish, not overly lactic. Completely classic tasting Gueuze funky Brett/Bacteria complexity; with great oak presence, and pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. No residual sweetness from crisp dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.

Bottle from The Gull, North Vancouver; 3/23/18
Hazy blond colour. Nice, delicate aroma, sour, not really Lambic, but good enough. Highly carbonated, it has a juicy sour base, some residual sweetness, it's a bit dough-y in the background, traces of grapefruit peel, traces of funk.
Pretty good Sour.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is very complex, with lots of wild yeast, some leather, horse blanket, and some pepper. Flavour is along the same lines, with leather, lots of wild yeast, horse blanket, spicy pepper, and a touch of pear skins. Just a wonderful wild yeast character here. Deep and elegant. Lovely.

500 ml bottle. Pours amber with light to moderate head. Aromas of...gueuze - barnyard, grapes, old oak, and green berries. Sharp flavors follow same though not as exciting, with a bit of alcohol adding pepper. With the exception of the ABV, pretty Belgian for West Coast brewery. A tad expensive though...

Waxed bottle pour, enjoyed as a sneak peak at the Beveridge Place Pub Deschutes 30th Anniversary event. A somewhat clean golden orange pour. What a treat this is, and a blast to cheers it with so many folks that are here to celebrate simply how great craft beer is. A slightly tart front, has a touch of white wine character. Some pear as advertised. Quite a bit actually. Thicker body. Has a total lambic feel for me. A really nice sour to celebrate with these guys. Hey, if you guys are 30, that means I'm next! Shit..
