Pint of cask at Kings Arms, Luxulyan, Cornwall. Pours clear golden yellow with a loose white head. Aroma: light malty, moderate hoppy, floral, hay, grass. Taste: light to moderate sweet, light bitter, citrus, caramel, herbal, grass. Light bodied, soft carb, dry light bitter finish. A beautifully kept pint served close to the source

Cask. Really sweet and fruity with notes of pears and apples. Also a bit sour. Almost still.

Earthy and moderately hoppy. Traditional. Lemons and citric juice. Orange squash texture. Soft malts. Old skool.

Cask in Porthleven. A classic English bitter with malt and bitter hops and a low ABV. I admit that it’s nothing special, but supped on the quayside as the sun set it was special.

Cask @ The Foresters Arms, Colchester. Pours light golden with a small offwhite malt, light caramel, wood, grass. Flavor is light sweet, malty, grass, fruit. Medium body, soft carbonation. 170217
