24/05/2013 Birrifugio Trastevere (handpump). Ambrata, viva e limpidissima, schiuma bianca sottile e poco persistente.

Nice beer, a tiny bit cloying for my liking but still good to have in my fist on the right occasion.

(Cask @The Station Hotel, SE London) Pours gold with a small white head, and medium lacing. Medium to light body. Fruity aroma of citrus hops, grass, and malt. Taste of citrus hops, pine and biscuity malt. Very drinkable, really like this.

Cask on many occasions. A smooth textured pale ale, with a good aroma, and understated taste.

Cask at the Two Brewers, Windsor - 21/07/12. Clear amber body with a white head. Floral and herbal hops dominate the nose with a pinch of citrus. Earthy hop flavour, a little biscuit malt, tangy citrus. Medium bodied with a moderate bitter finish. First time I’ve had this in a good few years - enjoyed it!

May 2007: Drank in the ’Mad Bishop and Bear’ on the top level at Paddington Station, London. It was the guest beer at this well known Fullers Pub. Poured into the correct pint sleeve glass with the Tribute logo on both sides. Good solid amber colour, clear and bright, the white head stuck to the glass as I drank my way down the pint. The aroma was purely of hops, as was the overall taste and mouthfeel, a very nice beer indeed. I had forgotten how much I liked this beer, glad I found it again: had it many times since this review was put on BA back in May 2007.
