Opaqua brown colour. Mild earthy aroma. Oily mouthfeel, Belgian yeast esters, anise, celery, sweet malt base, and booze burn.

Bottle - Light wood and dark malts. Dark Amber with a small white head. Sour and woody, sweet with an odd finish.

500mL bottle, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a complex balance of caramel malt, wood barrels, and a touch of oak. Flavour is along the same lines, with caramel malt, oak barrels, and some whiskey notes. Nice woody character, with a toasted caramel finish. Very good.

500ml bottle at Erik's. Pours a hazy brown with a tan head. Aroma is not very pleasant, dry, with cellar and some fruity notes. Taste is similar, boozy and harsh. Not good.
