Strong malty nuances and floral hoppiness are imbued with accents of slight fruitiness. Despite its strength, Bergbock is pleasantly mouthcoating, with a powerful, but unobtrusive body. A highly discrete, finely bitter hoppiness transforms into a slight honey sweetness to conclude on a soft, harmonious aftertaste.
A harmonious light bock of character that cannot be put down after the first drink (16.5% original extract and 6.9% alcohol by volume).

Bottle at OP, thx Lukáš! Clear golden body, white head. Low green apple and dry maltiness in the aroma, bit minerally. Lean, very dry but soft taste, honeyish, low alcohol, very well balanced and chuggable. Good stuff!

Palate is semi sweet, semi crisp, moderate highish carbonation. Drinks really easy for the abv.

Clear deep gold with a decent head. Pale malt, bread, honey, candy, floral & spicey notes. Light sweet & bitter. Pretty sufficient.

It is a classical beer on the Bavarian tradition. For a bock, it is a sweet one, wheat, few taste of banana, a bit watery, discreet alcohol, 25.04.2016, in the flat of Raphaël, Vigie, Lausanne.

0.5 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before October 2025. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity-floral aroma of honey, dandelion and lemon peel. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral taste of grains, honey, some lemon peel and light sultanas, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently dry finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent momouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite pleasant, relatively dry for the style, pleasantly hoppy as well.

Aroma is potent malts and hay. Flavour is malty sweetness with a little hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. I’m afraid I found this one a bit too sweet.
