In Holland, there’s a current trend to brew kuitbeers. Some of them are nice, but most of them just result in sweetish, flat beers. This one as well.

Bottle @ home shared with Thompson. Hazy yellow-orange color, small beige head. Smell and taste wheat, some oatmeal ’dry-ness’, lightly sweet, slightly herbs. Average to medium body and carbonation. Quite decent.

Bottled. A hazy yellow beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes lemons, perfume, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hay, wheat, and perfume, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Tap @ Utrechts Lentebier. Cloudy golden color, medium white head. Served a bit too cold again. Aroma is a bit grainy, some soft hop. Smooth bitter taste. The wheat and oats give it a velvety mouthfeel. Refreshing, easy drinking. Decent beer and a decent style.
