To my mind one of, if not the best session beers you can find in the UK. Pours a clear golden colour, with a frothy almost creamy white head, and a glorious mellow citrus and light malt aroma. The citrus bite lures you into a softly bitter light malt taste, with a fruity tang, and a dry finish.

Cask at the Royal Standard, Wooburn Common. A straw coloured pour with a tight white head; fresh grapefruit aroma; sweet grapefruit taste to start, then sharper, leaving a clean fresh bitter finish. Rather good.
