Released in May 2018 (limited run) as final beer from Rogue’s Hop Family Series. Technically two years in the bottle so let's see what happened;Surprisingly still very aromatic, loads of malty sweetness but in a very harmonious way, sweet bread, toast

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours very hazy medium orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky cream colored head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, papaya, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. A bit too malty/muddy aromas. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops, honey, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, papaya, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, papaya, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops, honey, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 10.1%. Overall this is a delicious DIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops, honey, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the big ABV, with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; not overly aggressive. Very juicy, dank, and earthy hop complexity; with balanced honey/bready malts. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Their farm hops always feel pretty classic/old school on flavors.

Sampled on draft at 3 Rivers this beer poured a hazy copper color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that left very good lacing. The aroma was tart with notes of citrus, perfume and cleaning solution. The flavor was tart and tangy with citrus, perfume, floral hops, cleaning solution and alcohol. Long perfumey finish with growing alcohol. Medium body.

Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Hazy amber colour. Nice aroma, very malty, with sweet oranges and sweat. Good body strength, malty flavour, some caramel, too sweet; orange hops, candied peel.
Remembering that this is 10%, not too bad.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy orange amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of caramel upfront, with subdued resinous hops, and bready notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with vegetal notes, herbal hops, resins, and lots of sweet, chewy caramel. Chewy and vegetal - this is not pleasant.
