Kick back into golden refreshment; bright and crisp like the freshest citrus. Citrus and fruity hop aromas gently join up with a light appealing cereal malt character leaving you with a satisfying finish to savor.

Bottle. Aroma of floral and citrus hop. Very nice aroma. Sort of a golden amber color. The head went so fast I didn’t notice it. A bit thin bodied. Carbonation is moderate, with a slight bite. Not bothersome. Starts with bready malt. Backed with a slight hint of citrus sour. A bit of hot spice. Flowery hop comes up to balance things out. It’s really quite pleasant. Finish is fairly dry. Bitter it is. Wouldn’t drink it constantly, but hey, it’s a seasonal!

On tap at Brewpub Pours out a clear amber topped with a white head. A nice little bitter hop on this one.

Blonde in the pour with a decent sized white head. Hops and malts are well balanced with hints of floral tones and citrus. A summer brew for certain, easy to drink in the heat of the day.

Enjoyable ale with a nice balance of bitterness and sweetness. Poured a hazy amber, golden with a white head. The aroma hints at the taste: Malts and hops. The flavor was citrusy and sweet over the top of a strong, lingering bitterness from the hops. Medium, slightly clinging body that seems to be a characteristic of Deschutes.
