Extremely rich and malty German-style lager, so intense that it’s named after our founder! Karminator Doppelbock has a traditional double-bock flavor, brewed with an over-abundance of the absolute highest quality imported Munich malt to create an irresistible toasted barley flavor, with hints of caramel & toffee. Alot of care, time, and know-how has gone into creating this complex, memorable, and majestic lager.

Pour is a murky river water brown with no head at all. Aroma is tootsie rolls with raisins. Flavor is super sweet molasses with a super sweet toffee aftertaste. It's sweet. Finish has some alcohol and tobacco. Nice to sample but way on the sweet side.

Roast and toffee. That real lagered roast you get in doppels. Some leather and fig. Reddish brown pour with good mocha head. Bittersweet finish. Can.

12 ounce can. Slightly hazed orange brown color. Large, frothy tan head. Rich, tangy toasted malt aroma hints at sweet caramel and butterscotch. Flavor follows nose. Tangy malt, caramel and dried fruits. Some warming alcohol in middle. Sticky mouthfeel. Backend brings note of fig and plum.

12 oz. can, pours a deep dark mahogany brown with a large beige head. Nose brings out dark dried fruits, bready malt, caramel and toffee. Flavour is rich and malty, with a complex combo of caramel, toffee, bready malt, and dark dried fruits. The sweetness level is appropriate -- medium sweet for the style. Fruity, bready and caramely finish. Excellent take on this classic style.

Not bad, incredibly drinkable for a 9.3% beer. Big malt flavors of toffee, cocoa, dates, tobacco, and black cherry, with a gentle bitterness on the finish and a slight woody note in the fade. Could use a little more body and depth, but still a solid pint.

Tap @ Beer Temple. Dark brown color. Malt, hints of roast and Mon Chéri bonbons in the aroma. Full bodied, thick on the tongue. Slightly alcoholic. Milk chcoolate. Malt and roast. Also Mon Chéri in the flavor. Grassy earthy hops shimmering through and getting stronger in the aftertaste. Nice one!

Sampled on draft this beer poured a brown color with an orange hue and a large foamy orange-tan head that lingered forever. The aroma was malty with faint dark fruits. The flavor was malty with dark fruits and a bit of molasses. Medium length finish. Full bodied and smooth.
