An understated style very well done. A low fluffy head on an effervescent straw body. The nose is discrete, with honey, grains and a touch of citrus hops. Fresh ale tastes in a well crafted balance. Fresh roasted grains, including wheat and oats are a real revelation. Soft citrus notes with a floral accent add a nice understated hop presence. Sweet honey adds to the profile. Ale very well done well.

Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are rich tropical fruits, flowers, hops, malt and has a nice fruity hoppy finish.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light citrusy hops notes with some dry hoppy notes. Taste is a mix of citrusy hops notes with some limited residual sugar notes and a dry finish. Body is full with good carbonation. Well brewed pale ale with good drinkability.

On tap at Flora Hill, pours an opaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with oats upfront, followed by plenty of chalkiness. Flavour is along the same lines, with hearty oats, subdued hops, and some earthiness. Not too chalky, but it does have a milky, neutral palate. Pleasant.

Cask version with lemon and lime. A milky yellow ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light sulfur, lemon pulp, light tropical fruits, pleasant. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with light lemon notes, light acidity, light grassy hops, light mineral notes, pleasant and smooth. Cask at brewery.

Enjoyed at the brewpub on the opening week. Pours a cloudy golden colour with amber highlights, a white head and nice lacing. Loads of citrus notes in the aromas (orange, grapefruit). Same for the taste, with no crazy bitterness (the oats helping here). A mild dryness in the finish. A very well-balanced pale with the citrus, but with the smoothness of the oats. Quite enjoyed this one.
