Bottle. Nice brown head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, coffee, nuts and hops.

Lahev s patentním uzavěřem: Completely opaque, deep brown to black coloured, big brownish head, sticking to the glass, moderate leathery-roasty nose with a fruity acidity underneath; medium bodied, moderate dry bitter flavour with some sweet traces, soft and creamy; even drier in the chocolatey-fruity finish, cacao powder in the aftertaste. Presumably the first "russian product", that was produced voluntarily in the czech countries after August 1968…

(swing top bottle, 33cl) This one looks sexy, even for an Imp. Stout: black as coal with a massive and firm brown-coloured foam that lasts for a while. Roasty malty aroma with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, leather, nuts, iodine, vanilla and wood. Roasty bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a mild carbonation. Dry and robust roast-malty taste with a cornucopia of flavours; dry and roasty bitter, also very lasting finish. Great, this one is obviously not just another Imp. Stout. 21.VIII.12

pitch black,small bubbly head. herbal roasted malty aroma. good roasted malty aroma. flavor is roasted malts, sweet herbs, licorice, very nice sweet rosated malty flavor. the herbs i could live without, but the rest is really good.

Bottle, 8.5%. Coffee aroma, a bit sourish, grassy hop aroma. Black colour. Very small dark brown head. The flavour is nicely sour, like some fruit, sour cherry perhaps. Some good smoke. Very vinous. Like a good roasted sour.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Very black, small head. Tarry licorice aroma. Dry and dense with full body. Concentrated flavour of licorice and aniseed. Salty finish. Combines beatifully crafted malt structure with intense roasty flavours in a good way.

Bottle #775 at the brewpub, bottled just 2 weeks before, so I think it should have been a bit too young. Pitch black with a rocky dark brown head. Aroma of chocolate, plums, berries, cafe au lait, creamy vanilla, licorice. Sweet chocolate flavor, with cafe latte, alcohol, metal, vodka, berries, and a long bitter coffee and vodka finish. Rather think body, quite raw and young, but interesting. Would like to try it after a year or so.

Bottle @ de Molen. Dark color, short head. Aroma of butter, milky chocolat. Sweet taste, milk chocolat, bit roasted.
