Re-rate 9/8/12: Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks zvikar. Hazy orange-golden. Weird medicinal soapy aroma with some fruitiness and a bit of hops. Bitter hoppy flavor with light malty sweetness, a bit of fruitiness and nice bitterness. Medium-bodied. OK, seems like something’s wrong with this bottle. 4/3/6/3/12=2.8

Bottle from a trade with bierkoning. Thanks Edo! Hazy deep golden-orange color with a big white head. Aroma of hops with some flowery notes, spicy yeast, some malt and some fruits. Slightly sweetish flavor in the beginning with caramelly hints, continues dry, pretty bitter, with hops and some spiciness and yeast. Medium-bodied. Decent, feels quite Belgian in character. 7/3/7/3/14=3.4

Bottled at Monk’s Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Lightky hazy golden with some sediment and rich firm head. Lovely mango/pineapple aroma. Sweetish and light bodied, soapy and perfumy. Rounded gentle body with a crystallic heart and long floral bitterness. An American style bitter brewed in the Netherlands...

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Hazy deep golden with a dense off-white head. Fresh citrusy hops in the nose. Light body, not much of a malty feel but completely dominated by good aroma hops that leave a solid bitterness. 221108

Small rim left, over hazy yellow-ochtre beer. Spicy nose, like an old Christmas wreath with dried pine, cypress & herbs. And dry hops. Citrussy, and yet spiced hops. Very leafy-flowery flavourprofile. Medium bodied at best. Cyano-link, like almonds, in the aftertaste. Strange, very fine nose, but finishing rather unhappy on the palate.

33cl Bottle bought at the brewery. Hazy golden/orange beer, white head. Aroma of hops, resin/glue and malts. Flavour is thin and bitter at first, but becomes more malty and hoppy with some resin underneath later on. Lemony bitter finish. Nice summer beer.

Draugt beer, third pint, at the Belgian & Dutch Bar, BSF at GBBF 08. Cloudy, orange body topped by fragile bubbles. Marked fruity smell followed by sweet late fruits in flavour. Finish off with a few vague bitter endnotes. Thin to medium palate (06.08.2008).

(Cask at GBBF, London, 5 Aug 2008) Cloudy copper colour with brief, white head (leaning in the mire direction). Fruity, yeasty nose with apricots and dried fruit. Fruity, yeasty taste with notes of apricots and a nice, dry bitterness in the finish. Rather far from an English bitter, but still an interesting beer.
