Cask conditioned bottled beer? I don’t think so. 12 oz bottle pours a hazy, deep yellow with a very frothy, active white head. Just looking at it, you can tell there’s an unnatural amount of carbonation. This has to be infected. Yep, it smells infected: coriander, grass, lemon rind, vegetal. Flavor is... you guess it, infected, lemon rind, white peppercorns, green bell peppers, dried hops. Medium bodied, gross, grass finish. Super infected. Gotta love these $6 drain pours.

Bottle. Cloudy brown beer. Palate is as flat as a pancake, zero carbonation. Soft cocoa chocolate with a very very small hop presence at the finish. Think this one is not right. Need to try another.

Bottle. Pale gold with a huge white head, high bead. Aroma is floral and biscuity with oranges, apricots and wood. Highly carbonated mouthfeel - another de Molen beer that’s not made it here how its supposed to. A swirl after 5 minutes produces 3 inches of foam. Eventually it’s drinkable and it’s fine underneath. Light bodied with cleanish biscuit, oranges and a dry, slightly woody finish. Obviously a better beer than it showed here.

330ml bottle. Cloudy copper colour with small white head. Fruity aroma, apricot, peach, mango. Taste is a bit metallic, in fading away a bitter hop note and a shadow of the fruit aroma pass by.

Bottle from Meny, Oslo City. Pours slightly hazy brownish orange with a huge white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, malt, citrus and caramel. Fruity sweetness that ends fairly dry and bitter. Aftertaste is citrus with a hint of pine. Very nice bitter!

Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Hazy golden pour with a restrained off white head. Some grassy hops, sweet malt and citrus present in the nose. Flavour was a liitle earthy with similar qualities to the nose and a hint of spice. Dryish bitter finish. For the strength its a decent and fairly flavoursome brew, if a tad unremarkable.

33cl bottle @ Brauhaus, Edinburgh. Pours amber with some head. The nose has some sort of mountain herbaceous thing going on - reminds me of Jagermeister. The taste is tangy and herby. A fairly balanced palate - medium weight with a fairly clean finish. Overall, solid!
