Pours bright gold into a snifter. White head quickly dissipates to nothing. Spring flowers and grass aromas. Dry with upfront toasted hay. Abrupt, soapy lemon joy finish.

330 from Holiday Wine. Enjoying this in my little DeMolen snifter which was a freebie from De Bierkoning, because I immolated my credit card there. Pours orange tinged gold with a coarsley foamy white head. Aroma is fruity/floral hop!!!! Amazing. Medium + body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is floral over English biscuit. I think I died and have awoken in the UK. Like it’s even low ABV. Relatively. So bitter? The local weinies would likely append "strong ale". But the rude colonists know that it’s weak. BUT EXTREMELY TASTY!!!!!

Bottle. Pours a clear light amber with a slight gold hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of pine hops and hay and bread from the malts. Flavor begins with a bit of pine but becomes smooth with bread and hay.

It’s always nice to find a good relatively low abv English-style beer. Since I’ve never gone to England looking for good beer, I’m never quite sure if my reviews are wildly inflated. That said, I enjoy this offering from De Molen quite a bit. It has a great aroma full of biscuity malt and citrus dominant hops. There are also some nice notes of pineapple and caramel. It’s mildly (and pleasantly) sweet with a healthy but gentle bitter finish. My favorite part is that the beer is very flavorful and full-bodied for the abv. It has the flavor of a much bigger beer without any heavy sweetness or booze. It’s an easy beer to drink, though, of course, much too expensive to be consumed in quantity around here.

330ml Bottle (Thanks FatPhil) - Hazy gold/amber with a white head. Hoppy and slightly spicy aroma with hints of grapefruit, tea and pineapple. There’s also a faint musty hint to the aroma. Fruity and hoppy taste with notes of peach, apricot and a hint of spice. The finish is bitter, fruity and rather dry. Not bad, but more like a Belgian beer than a bitter.

Cloudy, slightly orange beer with medium white head. Aroma is fruitfull and refreshning, mangos, lemon, pine needles and some grass. Flavour is nicely bitter and it supports fruitness that is quite similar than aroma. After swallowing beer tastes even more bitter. Quite easy to drink but still enoughly pleasant. Nice, fruitfull and bitter beer to enjoying and not bothering.
