We're happy to re-introduce Jester King / Mikkeller Drink'in the Sunbelt -- Hoppy Wheat Beer!
Originally brewed in 2011, we decided to bring it back this summer. Drink'in the Sunbelt is a riff on Mikkeller's Drink'in the Sun. The 2020 beer is brewed with
Blacklands Malt Silver Star Two Row, malted and flaked wheat, and flaked oats. Kettle hopped with Amarillo and Simcoe, then dry-hopped with more Amarillo and Simcoe, and Citra cryo. Fermented with Hornindal Kviek yeast. Packaged in 16oz. cans on August 27th. 5.3% ABV.

Bottle shared by cquiroga. Pours with a hazy golden yellow body and a large and lasting white head with good lace. Aromas are fruity, estery, stone fruit, hoppy, citrus. Bready, rainy and wheat like malt profile. Flavors are hoppy, citrus, and grainy. Bone dry. Lightly astringent. Bitter, a hint of light tartness. Medium bubbles, very dry. Tasty. Still drinkable on a 100*F day.
