Amber, hazy. Weizen yeast evident in the phenolic, floral aroma. On the palate, the yeast is again the main character. It’s good - the first batch was full of bubblegum but clearly they have a better handle on the yeast now.

On tap at Luppolo, pours a deep dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out lots of earthy notes from the rye, with toasted malt, dry cocoa and some farmhouse yeast. Flavour is rather tart upfront, with lots of earthy farmhouse yeast and tart dried fruits. Unusual for the style, with much more depth than typical roggenbiers. Very nice.

Draught at the brewery
Brown color, creamy beige head. Sour aroma, stale dirty water smell. Undercarbonated mouthfeel, soft; earthy character from the rye, banana from the yeast probably, which in my opinion clashes; moderate sweetness; light sweet liquorice in the final.
Not very good. Fairly brewed, but it’s just a bad idea.

On tap at the brewery with Alex. Pours a dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is fruity, some laquer notes. Taste is pretty the same with roasted malt notes. Meh.
