Since the very first batch, the recipe for Dark Seas has remained unchanged. This classic award winning imperial stout is rich in toasted coffee, chocolate, and all those bold roasted flavors. Mission Brewery has added peanut butter for a rich, creamy taste sensation. Peanut Butter Dark Seas: Just as amazing as the original, but with a nostalgic twist.

Bomber from Craft Beer Kings. Pours dark brown with a ruddy aspect during the pour and a transient tan head. Aroma of peanut, dark malt, chocolate and something coffee. Med + body. Flavor is chocolate, coffee and dark malt with moderate peanut spread over all. It's kind of creamy. Drier than expected. Bitter. Hop? Coffee? Both? Thankfully the peanut is not over done. Quite drinkable.
