Sampled draft @ Café Kandinsky. Dark amber, creamy white head. Nose is onion, garlic, herbal, lightly oily,.. Very oily, creamy caramel body, flowers, light citrus, orange, light pine,… Hoppy but in a mellow way, caramel & oily body dominates a bit,… Quite oily,… Good but I remember like the Special Edition quite a bit more.

1/VI/15 - 33cl bottle from De Bierkoning (Amsterdam) @ home - BB: 15/XII/16 (2015-741) Thanks to Paul and Venessa for the bottle!

Clear deep orange beer, creamy irregular yellowish head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, lots of mango, caramel, pineapple, canned peaches. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet start, citrus, pretty hoppy, alcohol noticeable, mango. Aftertaste: bitter, citrus, resinous, sweet caramel backbone, love that! Little medicinal bitterness, though only slightly. Very nice stuff!!

0,33 l bottle from Danny’s Drankshop, Roermond, best before 2/6/2016. Clear, amber with a foamy, slowly diminishing, tan head. Spotted lacings on the glass. Aroma of tangerine, resin and mango. Nice. Sweetish taste of resin, pine and tangerine. Short, slightly bitter and dry finish. Slightly watery. Oily mouthfeel, medium body, average carbonation. Quite enjoyable although I have hoped for a stronger hop aroma and taste. Maybe a bit too old.
