An experimental beer, using a Norwegian yeast strain at cooler fermentation temperatures for a cleaner finish and less farmhouse driven.
Bear Lake Kveik Brown Ale, a one off, is a malt-forward ale with notes of nuts, chocolate and light citrus. This beer is fermented with B.C. sourced Clover honey and Voss Kveik yeast.

Dark brown body, burnt sienna style, and pretty good creamy foam on top. Smells of soft biscuit with some weak cola notes. Taste is chewy biscuit, malt notes, finishing smooth. Okay, but nothing memorable here.

Dark color, mahogany, clean. Bready character, quite dry mouthfeel. A bit of vegetables in the final.
