Bottle. Dark brown color. Malt and licorice in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with licorice and warming alcohol. Tasty, but unrefined.

Rocky beige head on a dark brown still body. Malt , demerara & berry aroma. Full-bodied, thick & creamy on the palate with a clean finish. Malt, citrus, boozy dark spirits, grape & brown sugar tastes.

24th June 2018, bottle from Plus, Tilburg. Hotel room tasting. Pours clear dark amber with a huge, frothy, tan head; lots of lacing. Inviting aroma of caramel, licorice, tea leaves, Turkish delight, candied apple (as from the funfair), almond, fruit liqueur, fudge. Medium to heavy malty sweet onset, lots of caramel & fudge, some coffee liqueur and plum, and light spicy bitter with hints of herbs & nuts, countering that massive sweetness. Dryish, spicy & herbal hoppy finish, lingering caramel & warming, sugary fruit liqueur (Grand Marnier style or the likes). Full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Classic Quad, very correct, I love this kind of brews.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een bruin bier met weinig schuim. Het heeft een moutig aroma. De smaak is moutig en caramelachtig.

Bottled 330ml. -Brownish coloured, medium sized beige head, light caramel and alcohol in the nose. Toasted malt, caramel, alcohol and light nutty with notes of yeasty and dried fruits. Sticky notes in the finish. Nothing special here but in other hand quite poor for quad.

Bottle consumed at De Vooruit Gang, Eindhoven, Netherlands, Thursday 28th September 2017 Dirty brown in colour with a light beige head, fruity but with a big malty and also alcoholic presence. Soft in the mouth, nice carbonation, a pretty good quad, enjoying this. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
