Cream Ale is a pre-prohibition style originally created as the ale-brewer’s response to American style lagers in order to compete with the growing taste for beers with light, refreshing character.

Our Cream Ale is brewed in the traditional style to create a golden coloured ale with a clean, refreshing taste and a crisp dry finish.

In der Nase kaum auszumachen, im Trunk Getreide, die Cremigkeit ist kaum auszumachen, da hatte ich schon bessere. Fast etwas dünn, erinnert an ein Pale Lager. Hinten bitter.

A golden and slightly hazy beer, a head is medium and white. Aroma has grain and fruitness. Taste has grain, fruitness, some bitterness, dry enough. Medium bodied. Nice and easy.

355ml can. Opalescent, orangey, golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, malty aroma, hints of corn, a minimally strawy and bready touch, hints of white bread crust. Taste is grainy, malty, slightly grassy, bitter hoppy, hints of corn, white bread crust; chalky finish. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, soft carbonation. Like the Transatlantic pendant of an average German Helles - boring, monotonous, expressionless.

Pours a clean golden colour with a nice frothy-creamy-bubbly warm cap, good retention and thick foamy lacing. Malty aromas with a little sweetness, mild corn as the style should have, but with nicely blended hops to cut the richness. Malty taste with the nice hops in the finish. Tiny, tiny particles at last pour. Well done.
