This beer is another one of those beers that has been around since our early years. Though, it has gone through some changes over time. We wanted to brew an American IPA. We wanted it to have and aroma from which you could pick up everything that you like with the style. To achieve this, we hopped and dry-hopped it with five, high alpha acid, American hops. And, almost by default, it got its name. High Five! Initially, this beer clocked in at 7.5%. But in order to make it a little lighter we took it down to 6.5.%. And, while the hops are still the same, we've increased the amount of hops and dry-hops numerous times. Because, times change. And, even though you got a hop-punch from this in 2007, the amount of hops in it then would not have given you one now. But since it's more, a lot more, you do!

Donkergeel troebel bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is bitter hoppig, licht zoet en frutiig met iets van abrikoos en kruiden (kardemon, koriander). Verrassend goed bier!

330ml bottle. Hazy golden amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is very fruity, tropical, grapefruit, almost like a NEIPA but there is some pine, resin too. Taste of grapefruit, tropical juicy fruits, pine, resin, caramel, malts, quite a bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. Excellent.

Gott!

Tap at Bishops,Östersund. Absoluetly delicious beer. Quite light in body but packed with citrus. A popular beer with the punters and with good reason, a perfectly quaffable IPA.

From 33cl bottle. Pours rather hazy gold with medium grained white foam. Aroma is citrusy and resinous. Body is somehow dense, the extreme bitterness making itself feel immediately. Taste is very intensely bitter, with moderate bitterness only, but still not too unbalanced because of its nice resinous feeling. Finish is long and bitter.
