A hazy orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and malty. The flavor is sweet malty with some odd acidic lemon notes - just not me

Clear golden beer; huge, fluffy, yellowish head, leaving lace. Very sweet, cloying (very Van Steenberge-like, actually); soapy, coriander, citrus and loads of white candi sugar. Citrussy flavour, sweet, but much less than the nose suggested. Actually some vague, citrussy sourness. Virtually no spiciness left in the taste. Better balanced, too. Quite full bodied, slick MF. Long, slightly sweetish and slightly flowery aftertaste. Perfumed, arch-classic Belgian blonde. To my dismay, Proefbrouwerij resembles more and more its neighbour Van Steenberge... This beer is brewed essentially for Japanese tourists, searching for a Flemish story only Japanese have ever heard. The bottle is adorned with Japanese characters, telling the hapless Orientals God knows what
