Part of a Belgian tasting at K&L in Redwood City. The best of the bunch. Hazy yellow with full white head. Very dry. Solid souring with slight horse blanket. Nice candi sugar.

Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver, batch LCUVNOV14, bb 21/11/19
Hazy amber color with copper hue, large head, reducing to a thinner but persistent layer. The aroma of true Belgian Lambic, old dry /cellar, but also with a sweeter note. It’s very interesting how it blends the /flavors in a similar way, malty and mellow, but with a strong cellar and horseblanket character; a bit astringent in the final; candied orange peel too comes to mind. This is a very accessible but also elegant Lambic.
